It wasn’t always that talk of climate technology was in the billions. But the need for investment in climate innovation has only grown over time, and the market demand for renewables, alternative fuels, and waste-to-value (among so much more) is now rising fast. As a sign of the times, we are pleased to announce that NER’s clients have now surpassed $3 billion of capital raised for the energy transition. Because we enable this capital investment, we are proud to say that we are Underwriting a Greener Future™.
However, the talk of the nation this month is 123 times this size: $369 billion committed by the US government through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) for energy security and climate change programs. This unprecedented investment will accelerate known and emerging solutions to our environmental crisis, influencing industry for years to come. As new technologies break through, we will continue to be here to help them scale. After all, there are billions of people on Earth counting on us to walk the talk.
